Cathal Dervan, the Football Association of Ireland’s (FAI) public relations and communications director, has filed a Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) complaint against his employer that will be heard next month.
Mr Dervan was one of John Delaney’s last hires as FAI chief executive in early 2019, but he has since complained that he has been sidelined by the association under Mr Delaney’s successor, Jonathan Hill, who is no longer at the FAI.
