The behemoth of global football that is Paris St Germain is too busy and too rich to worry about the relevance of Ireland to their world.
But the star-studded Parisian side had cause to rue the presence of a little-known – for now – footballer with an Irish passport last weekend, on a day when not one but two Irishmen made a mark on Ligue 1.
