Stephen Bradley believes that the exceptional European run enjoyed by his Shamrock Rovers can become the norm – but he is adamant that a bit more help from the FAI could have helped to prolong it.
A depleted Hoops side suffered penalty shootout heartache in Tallaght last night, losing on penalties to Molde after a 1-1 aggregate draw. Rovers did benefit from a Norwegian sending off in both legs, but entered extra-time with four inexperienced teenagers on the pitch, with Bradley sore that Sunday’s league opener with Bohemians cost him the services of Danny Mandroiu and Adam Matthews.
